Account information
Email address (required), display name (can be a nickname), phone number (optional, for session reminders only), and college name (optional).
Session data
Booking times, counselor assignments, and session notes you choose to save. We do not record video or audio from sessions.
Assessment responses
When you take our check-in questionnaire, your responses are used only to match you with counselors. They are not stored after matching.
Payment data
Processed entirely by Razorpay. We never see or store your card/UPI details.

We use Supabase (built on PostgreSQL) for data storage with Row-Level Security policies that ensure users can only access their own data. All connections use TLS/SSL encryption.
Video sessions are conducted through Agora with end-to-end encryption. Session content is not recorded, stored, or accessible to Manasya.

The only situation where confidentiality may be broken is if a counselor believes there is an imminent risk to life — yours or someone else's. This is a legal and ethical obligation that all mental health professionals follow. In such cases, the counselor may contact emergency services.
